(System,Guideway and/or Drive) – Size – Version – Generation
The abbreviations used for the linear motion system is a three letter acronym that details the system type, the guideway, and the drive system. The acronym has the following form:
- The first letter of the abbreviation stands for the Linear System type
- The second letter of the abbreviation stands for the type of guideway used for the Linear System
- The last letter of the abbreviation stands for the type of drive system of the Linear System
